Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the My Benefits Buddy app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The App is operated under the umbrella of Cypress Coast Solutions, LLC, whose CEO is Shelley Benton. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

My Benefits Buddy is a free benefits eligibility screening tool designed to help individuals, case managers, and community workers identify community resources and potential benefit programs. The App does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. Results are informational only and do not constitute a determination of eligibility for any program.

No Guarantee of Benefits

The screening results generated by this App are based on the information you provide and are intended as a starting point only. We do not guarantee that you will qualify for or receive any benefit, program, or resource listed. Eligibility for government and community programs is determined solely by the administering agency.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when using the App. Providing false information to obtain benefits or services may violate federal, state, or local laws. We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information you provide.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Reproduce or distribute the App's content without written permission

Case Manager and Community Worker Accounts

If you register as a Case Manager or Community Worker, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to use client data only for the purpose of providing services and in compliance with all applicable privacy laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of client data complies with HIPAA and any other applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of the App is the property of Cypress Coast Solutions, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cypress Coast Solutions, LLC and Shelley Benton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its content.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will post the updated version here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
